WHO WE ARE
Cynthia A. Griffin, MSW, is an Army veteran, former minister’s wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 5, and a graduate of Florida A&M University, with a B.S. degree in Sociology and a Masters of Social Work.
Ms. Griffin has been a guest presenter of the workshop Cosmetic Application and Technique for the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA) annual Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Buck-Eye, Quad-State, and South Carolina state conventions.
Ms. Griffin has also presented the workshop Cosmetic Application and Technique during the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA) annual convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2007. Ms. Griffin presented the Cosmetic Application and Technique workshop the following year, during the 2008 NFDMA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cynthia is available to do workshops for state, district, and national level conventions. The Cosmetic Application and Technique workshop designed for individual firms are also available.
Cynthia A. Griffin has in the past, free-lanced as a make-up artist for cosmetic companies, such as Fashion Fair, Flori Roberts, Iman, Prescriptives, Princess Marcello Borghese, and Ultima II. She continued to develop her talent while traveling through the southeastern United States, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Greece.
Cynthia has also worked with professional photographers, T.V. personalities, Miss Black USA-Florida, Miss Black Florida-West Coast pageants, make-up artistry for movie productions with Florida State University film school graduates, and was a principal make-up artist for the 1996 Bonner Brothers national hair show.
Cynthia A. Griffin can be accredited to have done over 5,000 faces. She is now recognized as a color and custom blend expert.
